FAQs

Do I need to book an appointment?

Booking is not mandatory. (Except Saturdays 11:00 - 14:00 April - August Pre booked appoinments only)

Google Maps will have us marked as closed Saturdays 11:00 - 14:00 this is to deter walk-ins. Don't worry we are open to appointments.

You are welcome to visit without an appointment, but please be aware that during busy periods—especially May through August—there may be a wait of over an hour for a team member to become available.

When is the best time to visit?

As a large Thule & TentBox stockist, our busiest months are May through August.

Saturdays between 11:00 and 14:00 are the most popular times so we close to all but pre-booked appointments within these hours to best service our customers.

If you would like more in-depth support or a quieter experience, we recommend booking outside of these peak periods, as we often see 40+ customers during busy hours.

Are appointments one-to-one?

Each appointment slot accommodates up to three parties. This may be an individual, a family, or a couple with dogs. One team member is allocated to each group of three bookings, with a technical specialist available for more detailed enquiries.

What if I am running early or late?

You’re welcome to arrive early, but a team member may not be free until your appointment begins.
If you are running late, that’s no problem — we kindly ask that you call us. If you expect to be more than 15 minutes late you may have to wait for the next round of appointments.

Do you have roof bars in stock?

Yes. As the UK’s largest new and used Thule specialist, we can fit roof-tent-compatible bars for 99.5% of vehicles on the day.

Do you fit roof tents?

Yes, we offer a professional fitting service on site (fees apply- More info Here). You can also choose to collect your tent or have it shipped free of charge to UK mainland addresses.

Fittings slots are generally prebooked but we can normally offer same day fitting ( Saturdays April to August fittings available before 10:00 & after 14:00)

Which tents are on display?

We have the full TentBox range on display:
XL, Lite 2.0, Cargo 2.0, Classic 2.0, and Go — in a selection of colours.

Do you have accessories on display?

Yes, we have a wide range of accessories available for you to view and test.
Please note: awnings are not on display, except for the Universal Awning.

Do you have living pods or tunnel awnings on display?

Due to our fully hard-standing site, we are unable to peg out living pods or tunnel awnings, so these are not displayed. The Universal Awning is available to view.

Can I bring my children?

Absolutely — children are welcome to explore and try the tents.
We do ask that they are supervised at all times, and any damages are chargeable.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, dogs are very welcome. Please keep them on a lead during your visit.

I have additional needs — is there anything I should know?

Our showroom is fully wheelchair accessible with no steps.
If you would prefer a quieter visit for sensory reasons, please call us and we will be happy to arrange a suitable time.

Do you offer finance?

Yes we offer up to 10 Months interest free finance on all products, fitting etc.
